Decor Scandinave takes its floral design, drawn in large lattice patterns on painted wood, from a woodblock print on paper of the late nineteenth century preserved in the house archives. The lattice imposes order; the flowers loosen it. What survives from the original is the sense of decoration applied by hand to timber, translated to the wall with its charm intact.
