Dimitri is a graphic carved cotton velvet that draws inspiration from Russian constructivism, specifically referencing an early twentieth-century work by Lyubov Popova. The design employs bold geometric patterning built on contrasts between colour and monochrome, realised through a densely woven cotton velvet base. The composition combines both cut and épinglé velvet techniques, creating textural depth and visual complexity across the surface. The result is a playful yet sophisticated fabric with considerable presence.
