Dole Bamboo is a shaggy in the proper sense: very thick, deeply comfortable, with a mottled, satin-like surface. The pile is a cut velvet of New Zealand wool blended with bamboo, the bamboo lending its particular sheen to the wool's substance. It is a rug for bare feet and low light, generous underfoot without tipping into excess.
