Constance Guisset's Dolmen draws inspiration from geological formations, particularly the dramatic basaltic columns of Iceland shaped by ancient lava flows. This modular seating system translates those irregular yet striking geometric forms into a flexible programme of fourteen interconnected elements—footstools, benches, backrests, tables and armrests—that function as substantial islands within a space. Each piece can stand independently or link seamlessly with others through an ingenious hook system, allowing the arrangement to evolve with changing needs and spatial requirements. The collection prioritises comfort alongside its sculptural aesthetic, balancing visual dynamism with practical versatility for contemporary living.
