Ecume is a double-sided jacquard that mixes geometric pattern with moiré effect, so the surface appears to move as the light shifts. It is developed and woven in Pierre Frey's own workshops in the north of France for indoor and outdoor use: water-repellent and stain resistant, with high lightfastness, and treated so it keeps a textile hand rather than the plastic feel performance cloth often carries. Being reversible, it offers contrasting colour from a single order.
