Edfou takes its inspiration from the column capitals of the Temple of Horus at Edfu and the sanctuaries of Thebes: a highly graphic jacquard in which a forest of papyrus appears to bear up the sky. The majesty of ancient Egyptian architecture is compressed into a repeat, monumental in reference yet entirely usable in a room.
