Elbe reinterprets traditional basketry as a high-performance in-outdoor cloth, and borrows from kinetic art in the process — the interlacing set up so that it appears to shift slightly as you move past it. Colourful, but not of a moment. It is woven in Pierre Frey's EPV-certified workshops in the north of France, where the house's specialism is textiles that resist light and stains without losing their handle.
