Elise is a play of delicate curls in mixed fibres, finely contrasted so the surface seems to move as the light finds it. The pleasure is textural: loops and twists rising from the cloth like handwriting. It is fabric to be touched as much as seen, with the sort of intricacy that only reveals itself at close quarters.
