Erable continues the line of the Graminees collections and echoes the Natecru woven textiles: a wallcovering inspired by nature, imitating the weave of straw. The pleasure is entirely material — the grain, the slight irregularity, the sense of plant fibre ordered by hand. It brings the wall a natural quietness that painted surfaces cannot quite reach, in a resolutely contemporary register.
