Fleurs d'Eau is a delicate, majestic composition of lotus flowers — the initial flower of Egyptian art, credited with magical powers and associated with the birth of the sun, and so with rebirth. Hand-tufted, its wool loop pile is partially shaved in a random fashion to bring a light texture across the field. It is a tribute to the creativity and craft of ancient Egyptian artisans.
