Gaou is woven as a jacquard with three wefts that lend it a speckled look and an agreeably irregular texture, the whole softened by a chenille thread. It is cloth built for the hand as much as the eye: nubbled, warm, imperfect on purpose. The chenille takes the edge off the geometry and leaves only comfort.
