Gaspard is a plain velvet with a matt finish, and its cleverness is in the fibre: woven in Trevira CS, it looks and feels like cotton while being washable. That makes it usable in places a cotton velvet would not survive. The colour range runs from natural shades through to high colour, and the matt surface keeps even the brightest of them from looking glossy.
