Pierre Frey | Glynn

Glynn is a fine stripe on a 7 cm repeat, an Irish weave coloured deeply enough that the stripe stays crisp against the flecked Donegal yarn. The stripes run parallel to the selvedge, so used straight off the roll they fall vertically, which is what you want for curtains and for the backs of chairs. At 18,000 rubs it suits occasional chairs, headboards, cushions and curtains rather than heavy seating. It is the stripe we would reach for alongside Kerry or Donegal in the same colour family.
