Groseiller is printed on sisal laminated onto a non-woven backing, its hand-painted motif punctuating the wall with currant bushes in fruit. It was inspired by a design Germaine Midy created for Pierre Frey within the house in the 1950s. The sisal grain roughens the botanical sweetness just enough — a kitchen-garden subject given genuine material presence.
