Hamada takes its cue from a traditional Berber motif of kilim stripes, faithfully reinterpreted from one of the Maison's archives and rendered as an embroidered jacquard. The stitching gives the stripe a relief and a slight irregularity that flat weaving cannot, so the surface carries the hand of the needle rather than the printing screen. It is a cloth that brings a nomadic reference into a settled room without raising its voice.
