Heather translates an abstract painting by the artist Heather Chontos into a print on cut pile. Her shapes are interpretations of her environment, taking in delicate details of everyday life, landscapes under a changing light, and expressions of the emotion felt in their presence, and the softness of the pile gives the composition a different weight than it carries on canvas. It is part of Pierre Frey's continuing exploration of contemporary art, brought down to the floor.
