Hoggar carries a stylised pattern of ethnic inspiration, produced in traditional Wilton weaving. Wilton is one of the classic constructions of the trade, the pattern woven into the carpet rather than printed onto it, and it gives the motif a depth and durability that suit rooms in daily use. The drawing is simplified just far enough to feel graphic rather than folkloric, which lets it work in both traditional and contemporary settings without strain.
