Indira begins with an original document preserved in the Maison's archives: a canvas painted and printed in India in the eighteenth century, its fantastical flowery design probably intended as the border of a palempore. Printed on silk with natural reflections, the paper retranscribes all the authenticity of the archive, adapted here in the form of stripes. It coordinates with the Albertine fabric and paper, for those building a scheme around the same document.
