Izamal is where baroque grandeur meets contemporary restraint, and Isabelle is drawn precisely to that contrast — the theatrical and the joyful at once, in homage to forgotten frescoes and to the radiant wallpapers that once accompanied them. Stencils are more than a technique in her hands; they set rhythm and allow real freedom. Each is cut in the studio and reproduced faithfully on a wide-format glazed non-woven, which gives the design its full presence.
