Jalapao is a spectacular pattern of lianas, the climbing growth characteristic of southern forests, printed on linen with the effect of an artistic pencil sketch. The drawing keeps its draughtsmanship in the printing, so the cloth reads like a study from a botanist's sketchbook enlarged to furnishing scale. The linen ground roughens it just enough to keep the spectacle natural, a big statement made with a light, graphite touch.
