Its thick, soft hand reinforces the precious aspect of the cloth, and it is woven in France in the Pierre Frey workshops, which hold EPV certification for their craft. The stripe is delivered entirely by the behaviour of the yarns in the light, which is why it feels quietly rich rather than graphic.
