Pierre Frey | Janis – Exotique

Janis is an embroidered linen of soft curves and foliage, worked with an intensity that echoes the artistic flair of the seventies. The embroidery gives the foliage a physical presence on the cloth, each curve raised slightly from the linen and catching the light along its stitches. It is a fabric with a period spirit rather than a period costume: the reference is there for those who know it, and simply generous for those who do not.
