Jardin du Palais is a night evocation of the garden paradise so dear to the Safavid dynasty of the sixteenth century, printed on a cut pile and depicting a lush Persian landscape. It is a rug that leaves one dreaming, in the house's own phrase, and the drawing has had a second life: it forms the basis of a table service developed in collaboration with the Faiencerie de Gien.
