Jigsaw Stripe is built from an interplay of weaves rather than from contrast of colour, and the reference is the silk pekin of the eighteenth century — stripes distinguished by the way each one is constructed, so they read as changes in surface as much as changes in tone. Silk in the blend gives it the lustre that effect depends on. Refined, and quieter than a printed stripe of the same width.
