Jim is a textile wallcovering, largely linen, laminated to a non-woven backing. Fine horizontal threads run across it and give the surface a real relief — slight, but enough that the wall catches raking light along its length and reads as cloth rather than as paper. Restrained enough to be used across a whole room, where the texture does the work a pattern would otherwise have to.
