Guillaume Delvigne's Jimmy collection for Pierre Frey is a series of coffee and pedestal tables built on 'T' shaped bases, a form he draws from the tribal art he has long admired. The tops are smooth and curved, so each piece reads differently as you move around it and as light crosses it — functional and sculptural at once. Jimmy is made in oak, where the grain is left to speak, or lacquered, with tops in full lacquer, flush-mounted glass, or overhanging inserts in artistic lacquers.
