Karnak is a stripe of silk and linen inspired by the Nemes, the emblematic headdress of the pharaohs, who never appeared bareheaded in public. The reference gives the stripe its character: a regal, measured rhythm rather than a nautical one, with the modernity and refinement that silk against linen provides, lustre and dryness alternating along the cloth. Ancient authority, tailored into a fabric that reads as entirely contemporary.
