Kilwa is a striking jacquard of geometric patterns, created from a blend of wool, mohair and alpaca and woven in the Pierre Frey workshops in northern France. The fibres are the story: mohair and alpaca bring loft and a soft halo to the surface, wool gives body, and the jacquard structure carries the geometry in texture rather than flat drawing. A warm, tactile cloth in which rigour and comfort are not opposites.
