L'Arbre aux Oiseaux is a delightful panel representing a cypress tree set on a mound, decorated with peacocks and many other birds. The original kalemkar, painted and printed in nineteenth-century India, is kept in the Maison's archives, and this panoramic wallpaper, printed on a high-quality non-woven, honours it at full scale. A coordinating reference reproduces one of its details, allowing the panel and its supporting paper to furnish a room together.
