A field of precious palms that read equally as carnations or acanthus, reproducing a 1920s preparatory gouache for a fabric or wallpaper held in the Pierre Frey archives. Hand-knotted in the traditional Nepalese way, alternating wool and silk pile so warmth and softness both come through.
