Le Paravent Chinois reproduces a screen covered with a canvas painted in China, belonging to the celebrated American designer John Derian. The floral composition dates from the eighteenth century and is printed on cotton percale, with the cracks and patina of time deliberately preserved to replicate the archive. It is that honesty about age that gives the fabric its character. Also available as a print on glazed percale, and as a wallpaper.
