Le Rocher Tuft reinterprets the classic Braquenie print in hand-tuft. The motif, a prime example of the eighteenth-century Indian tree of life, is treated as an all-over to breathtaking decorative effect, and the tufted pile gives its rocks and flowering branches a depth the printed cloth never had. It is the most tactile reading of a much-loved document: history underfoot, with the softness of handwork.
