Leo was born from the encounter of Patrick Frey and the Buffile studio, the result of considering ceramics and fabrics together. Following the abstract current, the artist throws paint at the canvas in the manner of Jackson Pollock, and the choice of a vinyl backing reinforces the theme by highlighting the texture of that canvas. The energy of the gesture survives on the wall, and the design is also available as a fabric.
