Leonie is a chevron stripe woven as a plain in the house's factory in northern France, combining organic cotton, linen, alpaca, mohair and wool. Five fibres in one quiet cloth is the point: each contributes its own surface, the dry crispness of linen, the halo of mohair and alpaca, the body of wool and cotton, so the chevron reads as texture before pattern. A workhorse fabric with an unusually thoughtful recipe.
