Pierre Frey | Les Colonnes – Multicolore

Les Colonnes is a reproduction of a panel printed and painted in India during the eighteenth century. It belongs to the architectural family of document patterns: columns composed as a decor rather than a scattered repeat, which gives the fabric a structure unusual among indiennes. Used at height, on curtains or panels, the columns do what columns have always done, lending order, rhythm and a certain ceremony to the room around them.
