Les Lilas is a beautiful Jouy pattern drawing lilac branches in bloom, traditionally hand screen printed in France on a cretonne. Since 2008 it has adorned one of the rooms in the Petit Trianon where Queen Marie-Antoinette liked to retire, and the original document, block printed around 1773, is kept in the Musee des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. It is also available as a wallpaper, for those extending the pattern from cloth to wall.
