Les Meharees is composed of wide, graphic stripes drawn with a free line and a full-width repeat, printed on metis. The references reach agreeably far apart: the house cites Arte Povera and cave paintings, and both are visible, the poverty of means, the directness of the mark, the sense of a hand working at scale. It is a primitive gesture organised as a stripe, and the metis ground keeps it dry and natural.
