Les Palmes d'Alma II is a majestic palm tree blooming with stars, as in a dream, decorated with the most delicate embroidery. The panel, entirely embroidered on linen, stands three metres high and forms a pair with Les Palmes d'Alma I, the day to this design's night. The drawing was made by Alma, aged eleven, and ten per cent of profits are donated to the Fondation de France to support work preventing school dropout.
