Lugula is a rug of wide stripes with an authentic look, alternating cut velvet of Himalayan wool with hemp loop velvet, in the house's Nepalese handmade quality. The stripe is drawn entirely in material: dense, soft wool against the dry grain of hemp, pile height against loop, so the pattern is legible to a bare foot in the dark. Handmade slowly and honestly, it furnishes a floor with texture rather than display.
