Macao draws inspiration from the transformative power of a draped shawl, much like those that breathe colour into monochromatic dress. The design emerged from costume designer Isabelle de Borchgrave's creative exploration around a series of neutral pieces, ultimately sparking a narrative centred on Frida Kahlo. Rendered as a digital print on pleated-embossed vinyl, the wallpaper captures the essence and vitality of the original artwork with remarkable fidelity, bringing dramatic visual interest to any interior scheme.
