Mandalay Coordonné is designed to accompany the panoramic Mandalay, taking up its central motif: a floral sowing from a prayer rug painted and printed in India in the early nineteenth century and kept in the archives of the Maison. The scattered flowers make a gentle all-over field where the panorama makes a scene. It is printed on linen laminated onto a non-woven backing, which gives the wall a genuine textile surface rather than the picture of one.
