Eighteenth-century Sweden had a real taste for striped ikats and flamed fabrics, and many examples can still be seen today on beds and at windows. Mangata recalls that tradition with a pattern printed on linen: fine ikaté stripes whose edges soften and feather as true flame-woven cloth does. It has the pared-back charm of Scandinavian rooms of that period — decorative without ornament, and very easy to use in quantity.
