Pierre Frey | Mekran – Palomino

Mekran pays tribute to the Persian craftsmen who were among the first carpet weavers in history. It takes up, as a woolly jacquard, the oriental motif of a nineteenth-century carpet belonging to the heritage of the Maison Pierre Frey — so a design made for the floor returns as cloth for furniture. The wool content gives the weave genuine carpet-like depth, and the motif carries its long lineage without stiffness.
