Neoclassical is a poetic tribute to the charm of neoclassical Parisian architecture: a façade rendered in textile, on a linen ground, with the windows delicately set in applied cotton satin and the mouldings elegantly embroidered. The change of material does the drawing's work — satin panes against matt linen stone, stitched ornament for carved — so the building is described entirely in cloth. Architecture for upholstery, handled with wit and precision.
