Pitate is the name of the flower drawn by the illustrator Yiling Changues, who lives and works in Tahiti — the jasmine found in so many Polynesian gardens for its beloved scent. The design is a tribute to her grandmother, a great lover of flowers who passed on that passion early and influences her work still. Hand-tufted in New Zealand wool mixing cut and loop pile, the rug is an ode to the enchanting flora of her islands.
