Shout is a hand-painted pattern reminiscent of the pearl nets worn by women in ancient Egypt, its decoration inspired by La Porteuse d'Auge, the statue kept in the Louvre's Department of Egyptian Antiquities. The netted motif drapes the wall the way the original draped the body — ornament as garment. It is printed in wide width on a matte non-woven backing.
