Sierra is the transcription into a rug of one of three hand drawings imagined by Guillaume Delvigne for Maison Pierre Frey. Original and unique in shape, it sets a curly wool ground against a vegetal silk velvet, the irregularity of the cut velvet achieved through the over-tuft technique. The result has an organic quality that answers the spirit of Delvigne's drawing — a designed object, softly made.
