Sinop reinterprets, as a printed cotton velvet, an original nineteenth-century Persian ikat silk carpet found in the archives of Maison Pierre Frey, its composition based on the line of a mihrab. To honour the archive, the marks of time on the precious fibres have been replicated, along with the drawing's characteristic borders. As wall hanging, upholstery or curtains it may be used with or without borders, presenting grandiose herringbones.
