Taperet is a reproduction at grand scale of the stuccoed and painted wooden funerary stele of the lady Taperet, shown in her pleated dress in adoration of the god Ra-Horakhty. The original is held in the Department of Egyptian Antiquities at the Louvre; the printing, on a fibrous non-woven, recalls the grain and nature of the work's original materials. A wall treatment of unusual gravity and presence.
