Each piece is hand-tied according to traditional Persian methods, combining wool and silk to create a surface of considerable depth and luminosity. The design represents a considered dialogue between historical textile arts and contemporary craftsmanship, honouring the decorative languages of Empire whilst maintaining the integrity of time-honoured production techniques.
